Long American Armhole Dress in Organic Cotton Knit Capulho Chanana
The Capulho Dress is a piece full of enchantment and beauty, which receives energetic herbs painted manually by the Artist and Feminine Therapist Flor Atirupa, on the comfort of the organic cotton fabric. The healer Flor Atirupa, using totally vivid paints, consecrates another stage of this beautiful alchemy that calls upon nature to be Art in the Capulho Capsule .
We named the piece Capulho because it is the name given to the ripe fruit of the cotton plant, which forms the home of this precious fiber. We wanted to honor such a force of nature in this infusion of sacred plants and share this knowledge with you!
In the Chanana version, the brushstrokes that build this flower speak of resilience, of a precious knowledge that accesses the best time to expose itself and also to retreat from the sun, of something unusual that emerges and finds a place to bloom, exuding the sweet aroma and flavor of PANC (Non-Conventional Edible Plants), exactly where it is placed to be, that is, in any and every place.
A poetic symbol of Natal-RN, the capital of the state where Villa Dharma had the joy of being born, it is called Xanana for some, Damiana for others, Flor do Guarujá or Turnera for others. Regardless of the name that identifies it, its yellowish-white flowers always represent persistence and strength.
The dress was also designed to not mark the waist, softening the lines of the tummy, and because it has a high collar and leaves the shoulders exposed, it gives a subtle sensuality to whoever allows themselves to be wrapped in it.
And redefining the way we make clothes, both our organic cotton, produced in Paraíba, and our 100% vegetable and mineral dyes, developed in Itamonte/MG, are the result of family farming and are made from living things, nothing synthetic. It's no different with our haberdashery: the label is made of pure cotton and is dyed with water-based dyes; our buttons are made from coconut shells, and our nameplates are made of mother-of-pearl, a shell that can be found in the sea or river, which brings natural sophistication to the piece.
