Processes
Our entire production process is designed based on the most genuine life impulse that feeds us: our desire to leave only fertile , good, natural seeds on Earth, which do not carry within themselves fossil fuels, synthetic particles or any element that Mother Nature is unable to fluidly reincorporate into its roots.
Our fabrics, paints, pigments, packaging, aroma, supplies – labels, buttons, threads... are chosen considering this fine tuning that moves us. 
We create from natural fibers such as linen, certified cotton and organic cotton knitwear that have not undergone the conventional industrial dyeing process.
These fabrics, in addition to providing a soft and comfortable touch to the skin, use much less water in their cultivation, consume very low levels of herbicides and zero quantity if the focus is on our organic cotton fabric, and at the end of their use cycle they will be easily reincorporated into the roots of our mother Earth, nourishing her, as they are free of toxins and synthetics.
The use of these fibers has many other advantages: breathability, moisture absorption capacity, anti-allergy, durability, which makes them an even more holistically responsible and healthy choice. 
Our natural dyeing process is born from a deep respect for the Earth and its regeneration cycle. Each color we apply to our pieces is extracted directly from nature, in a sustainable and conscious way, without harming the soil, water or surrounding ecosystems. We use bark, roots, leaves and flowers to create unique shades, reflecting the living and vibrant essence of what nature gives us.
Our commitment goes beyond fashion; it is a pact with the planet. Natural dyes, as well as our fabrics and finishes, are chosen with care, always seeking to maintain harmony between man and the environment. Each colored piece in our dye shop carries this subtle and powerful connection, translating in its colors the respect and gratitude for everything that the Earth offers us.
Our colors, bright and present in the artistic pieces of the Cotton Knit Collection, are 100% vegetable and mineral, developed in Itamonte/MG and are the result of the work of family farming and made from what is alive, nothing synthetic. 
- Trimmings
It's no different with our haberdashery: the label is made of pure cotton and is dyed with water-based dyes; our nameplates are made of mother-of-pearl, a shell that can be found in the sea or river, bringing natural sophistication to the piece. 
At Villa Dharma, our packaging is more than just wrapping; it’s an extension of our commitment to the planet. Each bag you receive is made from kraft paper and hand-painted with 100% natural dyes, bringing the delicacy of art and sustainability to every detail. Our boxes, as well as our entire process, respect the Earth’s natural cycle, being made from 100% recyclable paper, ready to return to the environment without leaving a harmful trace.
Even our tissue paper reflects this regenerative awareness, as it does not contain plastic in its composition, remaining pure and biodegradable. For us, every step of your experience matters, and we are proud to deliver not only products, but also a message of care and responsibility for the world we inhabit.
