Children's Shorts in Organic Cotton Mesh Mangará Heart
Our Children's Knitted Shorts are a loving gift for the person wearing them and also for the planet, as they are made from plants and techniques that generate minimal impact on the environment.
With a soft touch made of organic cotton, it has a pocket on the back that is hand painted with a heart made using the stencil technique. It is the sweet-souled artist Sara Jane who lovingly colors them in the Villa Dharma studio, in Nísia Floresta, RN.
Mangará: banana heart, navel, flower, but not only! In the Tupi Guarani language, it is a term used to refer to the heart, an organ that symbolizes life, care, acceptance, nutrition, love, as well as all the pieces of Villa Dharma, especially those that make up the Mangará Capsule .
In the Heart version, the inspiration for the print comes from the affectionate and familiar ideogram used to metaphorically represent the idea of love. In the simplicity of its shape and the power of its symbolism, the heart is a figure known since the first traces of art in childhood and carried into adulthood, traces filled with good affection and sweet memories.
The Mangará Shorts were designed to create comfortable looks for the day-to-day life of an active childhood. They offer a soft touch on the skin, breathability and the opportunity for autonomy of movement. And redefining the way we make clothes, both our organic cotton, produced in Paraíba, and our 100% vegetable and mineral dyes, developed in Itamonte/MG, are the result of family farming and are made from living things, nothing synthetic. It would be no different with our haberdashery: the label is made of pure cotton and is dyed with water-based dyes; our nameplates are made of mother-of-pearl, a shell that can be found in the sea or river, and which brings natural sophistication to the piece.
